Olympus Stylus Epic 35mm Camera

Plenty of us amateur photographers love to take pictures and we don’t always want to shoot in digital. The fact is, 35mm film has certain qualities that just look better to our eyes and the fact that we are used to the medium plays a large role in why we’d want this type of camera. For the money, the Olympus Stylus Epic is a terrific 35mm non-digital camera that offers a solid design that is going to hold up even if you are a bit rough on cameras the way my family tends to be. This is one camera that can handle any weather conditions so if you take a lot of outdoor shots then it will work quite well because rain doesn’t phase it – although dropping it directly into water is certainly not something to be advised, of course. The picture quality is excellent for a $100 camera so you can expect good results even if you are still working on your skills. As a point and shoot model, I prefer to go with 35mm over digital simply because of the subtle differences in picture quality and the fact that I’d rather get the pictures without having to work with either my computer or the stand at the store. Film is still cheap enough that this is a good option for those of us who prefer to avoid digital for as long as we can. The rugged design is going to hold up and the Olympus name is certainly well established in the photography world as far as offering a budget friendly product that lives up to expectations.
