T-Mobile Prepaid Wireless Service

January 4th, 2010 Posted in Communications

Having been a T-Mobile customer for several years on a cell phone plan, I already knew that the provide excellent phone service and truly helpful customer service, as well, but I had not checked out their wireless services at that point. I have to say that for non heavy users, T-Mobile Prepaid wireless is a great way to go because your minutes aren’t going to expire until 90 days after they have been banked. This is a crucial point that you need to understand about similar services – most of them just take your extra minutes so you end up paying for time you might have been able to use at a later date. This is a serious savings for those of us who don’t always have totally regular wireless usage and tend to use more or less from one month to the next. While $10 will get you 30 minutes of air time, there are a variety of packages at the $25, $50 and $100 price points. For the most expensive plan, you get 1,000 minutes which works out very well for the amount you’ve paid and you have an entire year to use that much time. Not only can you recharge your minutes over the web, any T-Mobile location where they service cell phones (of which there are more than 90,000 in the US alone) will be able to help you get more time added to your account. I cannot emphasize enough that the customer service offered by this company is absolutely superb so while this may not be the cheapest way to buy minutes it is certainly a reliable service you can depend on.
